DARRYL HICKS TRIO
Darryl Hicks, a father of three, is from Aurora, Illinois, and now resides in Minot, ND with his wife Mary. Darryl has toured with The Bobby Moore Band and other regional acts including, Homegrown, Firehouse, Fantastic Convertibles, Soul Shine, Little Chicago Funk, and now the Darryl Hicks Trio.
Guitarist Don Shaw is a lifelong musician who lives in Minot where he has raised 3 daughters with his wife Rita. Don also plays piano, bass, and sings, and is pursuing a full-time career as a delivery driver for Planet Express in the future. Don is grateful to be a member of the Darryl Hicks Trio.
Kyle Baarstad has played drums professionally over 35 years with regional acts including Balderdash!, Soul Shine, The Unusual Suspects, and the Darryl Hicks Trio. Kyle has also been an educator for over 25 years. He has been married for 30+ years and has 3 adult children. One of his favorite parts of performing is singing harmonies with other vocalists.
